We are a small friendly club and have been established now for about two years.
This however,does not mean we are lacking in either enthusiasm, flying ability and building skills, in fact our members regularly build and fly a multitude of different model aircraft and regulally appear in popular model magazines.

We are fully affiliated with the BMFA and adhere to their Guidelines and Rules.

The Club Officers for 2006 are as Follows

We Fly from a number of safe locations in the Barrow and South Lakes area.
Our registered flying site is Walney Airfield and are allowed to fly there with the kind permission of BAE SYSTEMS on Friday afternoons. We also fly from Cark Airfield which again offers us great views, you can see where we are by clicking here and accessing our location map.

We have a wide range of disciplines and experience within the club which include Silent Flight, Electric and IC powered. We also have a number of Instructors and Examiners so if you are a newcomer and want help and advice then you will be well looked after.

Guests are always welcome to fly as long as they are BMFA insured.
